Corporate Action Japan engages in constructive dialogue (engagement) with Japanese corporates, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while simultaneously enhancing medium- to long-term corporate value.
\nOur target organisations for engagement are listed companies in high-emitting greenhouse gas sectors. To date, we have conducted dialogues with companies in sectors such as steel, car manufacturing\/the automotive sector, and oil and gas.

\nOur engagement (dialogue with companies): Our engagement specialists, equipped with deep expertise and insight in finance and sustainability, comprehensively review and analyse each company’s decarbonisation targets, business strategies, and governance structures. This analysis is grounded in corporate disclosures, research from third-party rating agencies and think tanks, perspectives from collaborative institutional shareholders, and the latest global trends. The identified issues are integrated into our dialogue agendas as shareholder expectations, driving concrete action by the target companies.
