Corporate Action Japan Becomes a Signatory to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI)

On March 26, 2026, Corporate Action Japan (CAJ) became a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). CAJ has joined PRI under the “Service Provider” category. PRI is an international network of institutional investors that promotes the incorporation of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into investment decision-making processes and ownership practices.

“We are delighted that CAJ has become a PRI signatory, joining more than 5,000 signatories worldwide and gaining the opportunity to collaborate with a broad range of investors. This milestone will be highly meaningful as we further deepen our activities going forward,” said Yasunori Takeuchi, Representative Director of CAJ.

CAJ works in collaboration with institutional investors to conduct shareholder engagement aimed at enhancing corporate value over the medium to long term, thereby encouraging behavioral change among Japanese companies toward the realization of a decarbonized society.

The six Principles for Responsible Investment are as follows:

1.We will incorporate ESG issues into investment analysis and decision-making processes.

2. We will be active owners and incorporate ESG issues into our ownership policies and practices.

3. We will seek appropriate disclosure on ESG issues by the entities in which we invest.

4. We will promote acceptance and implementation of the Principles within the investment industry.

5. We will work together to enhance our effectiveness in implementing the Principles.

6. We will each report on our activities and progress towards implementing the Principles.
