Corporate Action Japan Participates in the Asia Climate Investment Summit (ACIS) 2025
Corporate Action Japan (CAJ) participated in the Asia Climate Investment Summit (ACIS) 2025, co-hosted with Plug and Play Japan, an event that brings together investors, innovators, and policy leaders to accelerate climate innovation and investment across Japan and Asia.
As part of the program, Corporate Action Japan’s Representative Director, Yasunori Takeuchi, joined a panel session titled “Leading-Edge Climate Challenges & Opportunities: Electrification, AI, Clean Energy, Carbon Removal, Tariffs & Geopolitics.” In his remarks, Takeuchi emphasized that climate change is a system-level challenge requiring collaborative solutions, highlighted the potential for partnerships between Japanese and Asian companies, as well as the importance of translating Japan’s technological strength into commercial and large-scale production.
The summit brought together about 100 participants at Plug and Play Tokyo (Shibuya), creating a platform for dialogue among diverse stakeholders active in climate investment. Discussions explored how to redirect financial flows toward decarbonization, leverage emerging technologies such as AI and clean energy storage, advance nature-based solutions, and develop policies that enable a sustainable and resilient future.
In recent years, new approaches such as “system-level investing” have gained attention alongside ESG and impact investing, reflecting a growing recognition that addressing climate change requires holistic and interconnected strategies. Corporate Action Japan will continue to engage with institutional investors and companies, monitoring global developments and initiatives to help drive the transition toward a net-zero society.
