CAJ spoke at Ishka’s “Investing in Aviation Finance: Japan”

Representative Director of Corporate Action Japan, Yasunori Takeuchi, spoke at a panel session in the event “Investing in Aviation Finance: Japan” organized by Ishka in Tokyo on September 11, 2025.

The event brought together more than 400 members of the aviation finance community, including domestic and international investors, operating lessors, and airlines, to engage in discussions on strategies shaping the future of the aviation industry.

At the session  “Prospects for Sustainable Aviation in Japan,” panel speakers discussed key topics such as the  target for sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), banks and lenders’ roadmap, and the role of carbon offset. Global aviation demand has recovered from the sharp decline in the COVID pandemic and is expected to grow faster than GDP growth in the future. To ensure sustainable growth in the aviation sector, industry players across the entire supply chain must work collectively to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with the transition to a decarbonized economy. Central to this effort is the rapid scale-up of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) supply at commercially viable costs.
